Mooring Design and Dynamics: This link takes you to my Matlab Mooring Design and Dynamics software package page. This toolbox provides a simple GUI to build and test taut wire oceanographic moorings under the influence of variable current profiles. It also includes an ability to build and test the state of a towed oceanographic package. It is free, but you do need Matlab preinstalled.
